one less thing to worry about

Around the Home:

• Check for damage, missing items, items left by guests and immediately notify the host (owner).
• Communicate with the host (owner) for items that are below 25% of capacity:  laundry detergents, bathroom cleaners, windex, air freshener, sprays, garbage bags, coffee, creamers, Keurig cups (if applicable) snacks for the welcome basket.
• Remove all linens from bedrooms, towels, floor mats, start any laundry as necessary.
• Place furniture, pillows, and decorations in original placement.
• Clean under any furniture
• Clean all couches, pillows, etc.
• Wipe window interiors and all glass doors
• Check remote controls and make sure they work, clean with antibacterial wipes.
• Dust all ledges, tops of wall switches, side tables, high dust as necessary.
• Check and clean trash and recycling cans.  Remove trash and recycling and take to the transfer station.
• Make sure all plants are watered.
• Sweep and mop all floors. 

• Disinfect all surfaces
• Clean shower, remove all shampoos, etc while cleaning, wipe down completely including all stainless.  Cannot leave a single hair behind.
• Clean mirrors with glass cleaner.
• Refill all soaps and products.
• Thoroughly clean all areas of toilet, bottom, sides, behind lid.
• Shine all stainless, faucets, etc.
• Refill toilet paper, make sure we leave enough for guest count and length of stay.
• Replace the bag in the trash can with a new one, making sure the can is clean.
• Sweep floor, vacuum floor, finish the floor by mopping the floor.

• Remove all bedding, including sheet’s, bed covers, shams, pillow cases, and towels.
• Make bed with the second set of sheets and bedding.
• Check for stains on sheets, make sure to use a lint brush if necessary for removal of any hair.
• Dust all surfaces, end tables, dressers, etc… make sure all drawers are checked for anything left behind.
• Clean all mirrors
• Vacuum all floors, make sure to check under bed.
• Make sure windows are closed and locked, blinds are set correctly, dusted. 
• Ensure the bed is made correctly.
• Make sure closets are clean, vacuumed and nothing is left behind.

• Check the dishwasher, empty if necessary, run if necessary.
• Check the oven, deep clean if necessary.
• Clean the microwave
• Clean the refrigerator, inside and out.  Make sure all food is removed,  Check all drawers and freezer.
• Check and clean all faces of cabinets, check all drawers, make sure all kitchen plates, glasses, pots and pans, etc..are put back into the correct locations. 
• Clean coffee maker.
• Clean the toaster.
• Refill all ice trays put back in the freezer.
• Refill paper towels with a new one, put one left behind into the cabinet under the sink for backup, if none, place a second new one under the sink for backup.
• Check the snack area, make sure it is completely full and presentable.
• Dog area is checked, cleaned, and treats are filled.
• Wipe and clean all countertops.
• Clean/disinfect table and all chairs and stools.
• Thoroughly clean and shine the sink and faucets.
• Sweep the floor, vacuum the floor, and finally mop the floor.

• Verify no unclean areas.
• Take away all trash and recycling.
• Verify stove/oven is off 
• Verify all AC/Heat is off or set at the correct temperature.
• Verify lights are off, windows are closed and locked.
• Open the blinds/curtains for natural light.
• Open all bedroom doors.
• Safety items are all present and working, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit. 
• Verify all outdoor areas are clean and presentable.
